At the side of a padel court in the late afternoon, a hand holds a phone showing the match score, during a mixed doubles rally: a player hits a high volley at the net, the three others are ready

A doubles point while umpiring, 2-2 and 40-30: the four players on court, Lindgren serving, break point for Moreau and Castel The serve statistics of a charted match: first serves, points won on serve, aces, double faults, second serves

How it works

  1. One swipe for the point Put your thumb down anywhere and swipe towards the pair that won the point. The gesture starts from your thumb, not from a button: no need to look at the screen.
  2. The scoreboard follows The server and the server rotation, the ends, the tiebreaks and the rest periods: the app keeps them, you keep your eyes on the court.
  3. Record as much as you like The score alone, or unforced errors, winners and every stroke of the rally.

Statistics that tell the match

A rally map made for padel: high balls, taking the net, off-the-glass shots. Ten statistics categories, per set or for the match; rally lengths; time breakdown. Live Stats announce what just moved, for a few seconds, then get out of the way.

In mixed doubles, a player jumps for a smash, her partner behind her; beside her, the app’s statistics: 11 high balls on each side, 8 and 7 winners, 71% and 45% success at the net

What sets it apart

A family of apps

Orma Scoreboard was born in 2004 on Palm, for tennis, with the same idea of recording without looking. It also exists for tennis, badminton, table tennis and volleyball, one app per sport: the whole Orma Scoreboard range.
