At the side of a clay court, a hand holds a phone showing the match score, two games all, fifteen all, while one player runs for the ball and the other waits at the baseline

Orma Scoreboard · Tennis

Umpire or chart a tennis match without taking your eyes off the court.
Orma Scoreboard keeps the score for you. Swipe towards the side that won the point, and the scoreboard, the server, the ends, the ball changes, the tiebreaks and the rest periods follow on their own: you watch the court, not the screen.

The point while umpiring: the scoreboard at 2-2, fifteen all, the clay court with the players in place, and the grid of point gestures The serve statistics of a charted match: first serve percentage, points won on serve, aces, double faults

How it works

  1. One swipe for the point Put your thumb down anywhere and swipe towards the side that won the point. The gesture starts from your thumb, not from a button: no need to look at the screen.
  2. The scoreboard follows The server, the ends, the ball changes, the tiebreaks and the rest periods: the app keeps them, you keep your eyes on the court.
  3. Record as much as you like The score alone, or unforced errors, winners and every stroke of the rally.

Statistics that tell the match

Ten statistics categories, per set or for the match, from the serve to the net and from winners to unforced errors; rally lengths; time breakdown. Live Stats announce what just moved, for a few seconds, then get out of the way.

A player jumps for a smash at the net; beside her, the app’s statistics: 9 smashes for Moreau and 11 for Lindgren, 6 and 8 smash winners, 89% and 82% success at the net

What sets it apart

Since 2004

Orma Scoreboard is the port of Tennis Board, the 2004 Palm application: the same match engine, and the same idea of recording without looking. It also exists for padel, badminton, table tennis and volleyball, one app per sport: the whole Orma Scoreboard range.
