Logging a session: the Les Estagnots spot at Seignosse, a 5’11 shortboard and a 1.6 m swell, with “More details” to unfold below
Coming out of the water

The spot, the board, the swell: that is all

The spot, the board and the swell height are in front of you; the period, the direction, the wind, the tide, the coefficient, the water and the crowd unfold when you want them.

Offshore · 1.6 m · 12 s
  • The break type is carried over from the spot; in a wave pool, the swell, the wind and the tide disappear.
  • The daily form and the session rating, from 0 to 5, to find your good sessions again.
  • The waves, one by one: direction, rating, manoeuvre. The number of waves and the best wave are worked out from them.
  • In a contest, the round, your place in the heat and the judges’ score for each wave. “Next session” carries on with the same settings.

The sessions

Your sessions, at a glance

Each line gives the board, the date, the swell size, the session rating, the waves ridden, the spot and the duration, with the break type, the wind and the daily form as tags; “By contest” groups the heats of each event.

  • Seasons run from 1 January to 31 December: “2026” groups the whole year.
  • Each contest files its heats, round after round, with its overall place.
  • A no-show, a retirement or a disqualification is recorded at the heat as at the contest.
  • A session in a wave pool reads like the others, without sea conditions.
The conditions

When is it good?

The session rating, the swell, the wind, the tide and the coefficient stay side by side: the analyses cross them with one another to find the conditions of your good sessions.

The boards

A board for every swell

Shortboard, fish, mid-length or longboard: “By board” gives the time in the water and the waves of each, and the FFSurf ranking follows the family of the board you ride.
