2,000 m · 6’58”7
Your record for each event
The best time for each event, from 500 m to the marathon on the ergometer, and the longest distance in 30 or 60 minutes. River, sea and ergometer each keep their own records.
-
- River
- Sea
- Indoor (ergometer)
3 practices, each with its own records
A river time, a sea time and an ergometer time cannot be compared: the logbook keeps them apart. On the ergometer, an outing becomes a session.
-
1’49”/500 m
The pace is worked out, never typed in
Distance and duration are enough: the pace per 500 m shows on the outing’s line, breaks included. In a race, it is worked out from the event time.
-
8 × 500 m
Each set has its pace
“8 × 500 m” is logged as sets: distance, time and stroke rate of each, and the pace per 500 m is worked out. The best set for each distance, from 500 m to 10,000 m, is read separately.

- Gig
- Coastal gig
10 boats, and your seat on board
From the single scull to the gig, rigged for sweep or for sculling, with the boat’s name if you want it. The seat you row goes from the bow to the stroke; the cox logs their weight there.
-
30 min · 60 min
Ergometer tests, outside competition
A 2,000 m or a 6,000 m is judged on its time, a 30- or 60-minute test on the distance covered. A training test counts toward the records of its event, like a race.
-
Masters A to H
The category of the day’s crew
It is read from the crew’s average age, cox excepted: it changes with the crew members, never carried over from the outing before. Sea events are split into ten-year bands.

- Heat
- Repechage
- Semi-final
- Final
- Placement final
Heat, repechage, semifinal, final
Each race says its round, its place and the number of finishers; the heat carries its number, the placement final has its own. Retirement and disqualification are noted too.

The type, the practice, the distance
The session type, the practice, the outing’s distance and your seat on board are up front; the boat, stroke rate, power and heart rate wait behind “More details”.
Intervals · river · 10,220 m- Eight session types: technique, endurance, threshold, intervals, long row, recovery, test and race.
- River, sea or ergometer: each practice keeps its own records.
- The seat you row, from cox to stroke by way of the bow, when you row on board.
- “More details”: the event, the venue, the boat, the equipment, the stroke rate, the power and the heart rate.
Your outings, with their pace
Each line shows the session type, the date, the distance, the pace per 500 m and the venue; a race adds its time, its event and its round.
- Competitions have their own record: regatta, championship, interclub, with their rounds.
- The boat, the feeling and the kind, training or competition, as tags.
- Outings on the same day are grouped under one day, with its venue.
- The season, filtered to competitions, to training or to races alone: one tap.
A distance, a duration, and it is noted
An outing counts with its date, distance and duration; the boat, seat, stroke rate and heart rate come when you want them. Nothing else is compulsory.
The metres, month after month
The volume, the rower’s first measure, is read month by month: metres rowed, number of outings and time, with the number of outings each total is based on. The season starts on 1 September, like the licences.
