D + E − P
The apparatus score, worked out
Log the D, the E and the penalty: the logbook works out the apparatus score, then the all-around. If the scoreboard only gives the final score, that is entered as it stands.

8 apparatus, sorted by category
Artistic gymnastics: the category, men’s or women’s, sets the list for the day, six apparatus for men and four for women, floor and vault in common.
-
Vault · 12.09
One record per apparatus, never mixed
The best score on each apparatus, with its date, and the logbook flags it the moment it falls: a vault is not compared with the horizontal bar.
-
7 of 10
The element, its attempts, its successes
In training, each apparatus keeps the element worked on, the number of attempts and of successes. The analysis “Success by apparatus” draws from it the share of attempts landed.

Your place, out of how many ranked
The bib, the place, the place in category and the number of ranked finishers, and the place won on each apparatus: the rank is read on the scoreboard, not just the figure.

When the competition goes wrong
A withdrawal after an injury, a disqualification, an apparatus with no score: the outcome is noted, and the scores already obtained stay.

The competition, apparatus by apparatus
The category sets the apparatus offered; for each one, the D score, the E score and the penalty, and the apparatus score works itself out. The all-around is the sum of the apparatus done.
All-around: 66.90- Men’s or women’s: the category chooses the list of apparatus.
- The place won on each apparatus, logged with the three scores.
- In competition: the phase, qualifying or final, and the category are set on the same page.
- Under each apparatus, the reminder of the last time: attempts and successes in training.
Training and competitions, one after another
Each session shows its date, its coach, its gym, its duration and how it felt; the list can be sorted by competition, or you can keep training sessions alone.
- How it felt reads at a glance: easy, normal, hard.
- Training is told apart from competition.
- Competitions are kept apart, with their sessions.
Floor, vault, pommel horse, rings, bars, beam
This model is that of artistic gymnastics, men’s and women’s. Rhythmic, trampoline, acrobatic and aerobic gymnastics have other apparatus, which this model does not offer.
Your elements, in your words
The element worked on is noted in a few words, such as “Backward salto with a full turn”, then its attempts and successes: the logbook keeps your elements, it does not impose a list.
